| About the Artist: My photography career started in the early 90’s while travelling through East Timor during one of the countries many civil upsets - I then went on to travel and photograph throughout South East Asia, The Caribbean including Grenada in ’94, Europe, The UK, The South Pacific, Australia, India and the USA. In 2001 the M.I.L.K collection chose 2 of my images [out of 40,000 entries] and headlined a international photographic exhibition that started in Grand Central Station NYC. In 2004 my image of a 103yr old woman was nominated in the prestigious Spider Awards. In 2005 I traveled with Operation Rainbow Canada to Punjab, India to document one of Rainbow’s many charitable medical missions. Those images then went on to be selected by the IWDA [International Women Development Agency] My work has been featured in national and international publications that include The Vancouver Sun, The Globe and Mail, Popular Photography Magazine, NYC’s Reform and Real Weddings Magazine.
I recently returned from Bangladesh where I spent 6 weeks in the most remote regions of the country photographing and filming the project areas of Friendship, a [relatively] new NGO specializing in health, education sustainability and disaster relief.
