Born in 1959, US citizen. Started photography at age 12. My father was a serious amateur and the 1st person to influence and encourage me. Graduated From Brooks Institute of Photography (Santa Barbara, CA, USA). Majored in Illustration, digital imaging and fine art. I worked and lived in the following cities, California, New York, London, and Paris. My main base is now in Paris with a 2nd satellite base in Dubai. My passion is with photographing people, Portrait, fashion and nude art. However, I am also fond of still life and architecture. The most interesting thing and most important in photography, to me is Light and how to manipulate it. Photographers are artists of light. Can be compared more to a musician. Both photographers and Musicians have few things in common 1) They both compose; 2) They both work and manipulate a form of energy. Musician deals with the energy of sound and Photographer deals with the energy of light. 2nd most interesting is the creative process. I am an image-maker. I live to create. My most favorite quote: "Art and religion first; then philosophy; lastly science. That is the order of the great subjects of life, that's their order of importance." - Muriel Spark, Scottish author.
