A mortar impact site on the pavement of the Ferhadija in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Known as Sarajevo Roses, sites where several casualties occurred were filled in with red resin. Resilient Sarajevans go on about their day-to-day business, always reminded of the deadly siege but living life as best they can.
