Heavy legacy

I’ve made this work ‘Heavy legacy’ which symbolizes what corporate/in office power is doing to our world and how this dark heritage has to be carried by future generations. It’s filled with details and deeper meaning on green energy, politics, knowledge, innovation, power relations, the next generation and the environment.

The large wheel loaders cleanse the world off its green, nature and all the innovation to maintain and save it. The knowledge on what is best for our future as humanity, ideas for the future and innovations are brutally removed. That’s why the loaders are filled with trees, rocks, solar panels, windmill rotor blades and encyclopedias.
The windmill stands as a symbol for renewable energy and this symbol is pulled down with heavy chains.

The ‘corporate owners of the world’ are standing on top, faceless, and they rammed their sword in the earth as a landmark. It symbolizes aggressive acting and conservative thinking. They rule the world. Behind them a burning encyclopedia, as they leave knowledge and science careless behind them.

The future generation has to pay for this and carry this heavy legacy.
The mud and oil are a blot on the innocence of children. The teddy bear (as an aid, who was attacked in the back and had no chance) and both the bike are symbols of childish innocence. They are lost and polluted.

The white background and scene below can be seen as a sign of hope and enlightenment and a time for chance.

I’ve spend months in creating this piece and i hope it will raise more discussion, attention and care for the matter.
