"Gioco del Ponte" is an ancient competition born in the town of Pisa (Tuscany) during the middle age. The event is held every year in June, during the celebrations of the patron saint S.Ranieri. Two team are fighting on the central bridge on the Arno river pushing an heavy cart. The team which raise the flag for the first time is the winner of the match. The partecipants are all very strong and heavy men, and the requested streght is very high.
