Entry Description

The massive migration flows across Europe, the overwhelming global economic crisis, political instability and terrorist attacks are awakening old ideologies dominated by the closure and intolerance towards who is perceived as an invader or a pollutant element for the values of their own societies. This socio-political process projects towards the voters, feelings easy to manipulate for a politician, who channel these factors into the primordial fear of being conquered and swept away. Also the recent events of intolerance in the USA, amplified by Trump's muscular policy, are fueling the rebirth of fascism. At date, millions of people in all the world, screaming to the world “I exist and I am not a product of your companies. I exist because I live my identity, unique and essential and I belong to a people, a religion, a race". The perfect storm is ready to rock out and fascism is its instrument.

Story

The massive migration flows across Europe, the overwhelming global economic crisis, political instability and terrorist attacks are awakening old ideologies dominated by the closure and intolerance towards who is perceived as an invader or a pollutant element for the values of their own societies. In this scenario and with these conditions the word “integration” has completely lost its integrity, thus acquiring a meaning distorted and frightening. These feelings of closure, in good need of the ruling classes in office, are used as instruments manipulators towards the voters, infusing them with the feeling of fear, once again fear, instrumentalized as a political tool. This socio-political process projects towards the voters, feelings easy to manipulate for a politician, who channel these factors into the primordial fear of being conquered and swept away. Also the recent events of intolerance in the USA, amplified by Trump's muscular policy, are fueling the rebirth of the old fascist ideology and amplifying the seed of fear among youngest generation, those most vulnerable. We are witnessing hard reactions towards the immigrants, homosexuals and muslims, which are now painted as a concrete threat for the values of our own societies and our employment. In the center of the contemporary issues, wath’s really blowing oxygen to the flame of anger in our society, is undoubtedly represented by the global ongoing economic crisis, and the new policies imposed by dictatorial banking systems feeds the fire of rage, forcing the individual into a corner. Here's the fever of which I’m referring in the title, the ideological exploitation where the fear is conveyed by political slogans; here are the consequences of distant conflicts, able to make noise beyond geographical borders, with an echo that triggers new wars and new armies armies that do not wield rifles but arm themselves with moral hostility. In the era of globalization, tens of thousands of people all over Europe, screaming to the world "I exist".
"I exist and I am not a product of your companies. I exist because I live my identity, unique and essential and I belong to a people, a religion, a race". The perfect storm is ready to rock out and fascism is its instrument.
