This gem of a photo was captured in June of 2017 in the Grand Teton National Park as the sun was rising behind me. The light began to dance on the Teton mountain range at the Schwabachers Landing on a cool morning. My 77 year mother and I arrived at the location at 6:00 am and set up the tripod. My mother made the "camp coffee" and cooked breakfast for us from the Coleman camp stove. As I began a series of shots my mother called to me and reported that the "money shot" was down the trail about 100 years. Reluctantly I moved all my gear down to that exact spot where this image was captured. It is special in so many ways to me. The perfect harmony of colors between the mountains, sky, clouds and water made this a very charming and peaceful image that I love.
