This image was taken during the parade to celebrate the Sari at the Golden Mile, an infamous and popular stretch of beachfront in Durban, South Africa. Returning after many years to my hometown, this area is now reflective of the new South Africa and the successful co-existence of ethnicities, cultures and religions.
