Neendakara is an important fishing port in Kollam (Kerala – India). Its is the centre of an Indo-Norwegian project to support mechanised trawlers fishing. Tons of fish are unloaded and heap up on the bench where the people of nearby villages come for earning few rupees working in the activities of preparation, storage and shipment of fish to the countries of the Arabian Gulf.
