The origins of life are shrouded in myth, while man forgoes the sense of time, of nature and of history in the unrelenting and time lasting progression of the desert, dissipating supreme values and loosing the image of nature itself. In this fast changing world the call for water is an ever growing issue in everyday life. The rapid sequencing of news and the quantity of information, often showing shocking and violent images, tend to make us insensitive to deepening and memory. The spontaneous act of giving importance to the narrative void records an apparently anonymous and banal heritage, predicting one of the biggest problems of the future by actually building a sort of encyclopedia of the main water resources.

Story

"Sources - The most intimate place in Nature"

The origins of life are shrouded in myth, while man forgoes the sense of time, of nature and of history in the unrelenting and time lasting progression of the desert.
In this fast changing world the call for water is an ever growing issue in everyday life. However photojournalism generally portrays the effects and consequences of human and natural disasters, hence showing shocking and violent images, to which unfortunately we've grown used to. Thus the rapid sequencing of news and the quantity of information, tend to make us insensitive to deepening and memory.
My investigation is aimed at making public opinion more aware about the unknown implications regarding hydro resources on our planet, therefore anticipating the matter by raising issues over conflict, control, property, corporate policy, waste and pollution.
The Project in its whole has a planetary relevance and maybe one life won’t be enough to bring it to completion. However encyclopedic reading reveals the places in which Nature gives this precious gift and fills a void of information: no mapping of the most important river sources on earth does actually exist.
