This breathtaking image was captured on one very cold December morning when the thermometer registered a bone chilling below 0 degrees. The sun had not yet risen above the beautiful Mt. Redoubt and her other surrounding mountains, yet colors of fuchsia-pink swirling within casts of bluish-purple filled the morning sky. Bundled up and ready to capture such beauty I grabbed my Canon 5D with a Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 lens on a Bogen Tripod with Manfrotto Head.
