Photographing the beautiful glacial filled waters of Bow lake was truly spectacular. The morning foggy mist seemed to roll across the aqua-colored water with blankets of thick fog hovering above casting moving shadows from these rugged shapes. Hiking Crowfoot Mountain above the lake, I explored the magnificent rugged beauty of a glacial carved narrow gorge and watched the intense force of the Bow River flowing through its winding passages. These images were captured with a Canon 5D Digital Camera using a Tamron 28-75mm f2.8 lens and a Tamron 17-35mm f2.8 Wide Angle lens on a Bogen Tripod with manfrotto Head.
