I have taken these photos during the war in Croatia, ex-Yugoslavia (1991-1995) and today after so many reflections...dreams and memories I have climbed on the spirits. These spirits (of the killed and missing people) have remained there, in their houses, there from where they wanted to expel them, there where they were born and lived, there where their memories are, there where their life was. During this fratricidal war most international sources place the number of Serbs killed and missing at around 6,792 (missing - those that are not found (still today) and is not known where and when they are dead.) and displaced at around 300,000 (the Serb families have been forced to leave their homes). A lot of elderly people remained in their houses where eventually and almost always they have been killed. These photos I dedicate to the victims of war of the whole world and to my family.
