Colmena means "Beehive" in spanish. In Marigliano a district of Naples there's a Colmena, a "beehive", but it's not quite like the others. In Colmena, the young laborious and active bees are all youngsters ar risk from the neapolitan suburbs. Colmena community represents a reality that holds minors that have committed crimes in the criminal and administrative field. A magistrate sends them in custody to this community to avoid that they would go to jail. This community tries, through the help of social assistants, to teach these young men righteous ways of living, trying to teach them not only to respect the law and the rules in society, but also to try and get a message across, that they are still in time to change their lives. These young men come from the poorest and toughest districts of Naples.
