As a viewer I am most intrigued by images that emphasize beauty, glamour, color, and movement. My photographs focus on portraiture, both conventional and non conventional, that strive to bring these elements of detailed beauty and color to life. My visual interest lies in the cameras ability to capture moments our eye cannot see and to do so in great detail. Using the photographic medium I can recreate a moment and remove it from it's original context, allowing myself to abstract it through digital manipulation. In this series of images I used a stereoscopic technique of manipulation to bring out realistic depth and detail in the subject when viewed through red and cyan 3D glasses. When the images are viewed without the aid of 3D glasses a near monochromatic image comes alive with motion in shades of cyan and red.
