In these images I try to capture the surreal but fleeting beauty of the central Oregon coast. In my mind, the emotional power of this landscape is rooted in the human imagination: what we "see" out there is not necessarily what we "feel" on the inside--which is akin, I think, to a kind of glowing. That is what I hope to share: how this place makes me feel when I'm out there, sun sliding effortlessly toward the waiting horizon, colors shifting magestically in a thickening sky . . . And me, I become Alice. This wonderland is my home.
