These pristine waterfalls have to be one of the most amazing places on the planet. The mossy garden in the foreground and the huge logs perfectly framed this shot. Volcanic activity from millions of years ago had formed the perfect terrace for the water to flow down and the long exposure helped capture softness and serenity of the area. Heavy snowfall the previous night opened nature’s flood gates – allowing me to set up my tripod in a virtual cloud of mist. Even just looking at this shot brings me back to the area and I can almost feel my lungs filling with the fresh mist as I pressed the shutter.
