These abstract images are created by taking long-exposure photographs of video games being played on an LCD screen. The animated and static components of the games leave impressions frame by frame, and the final forms are unrecognizable distillations of the images, movement, and perspective of the games as displayed on the screen. In this sense, the photographs are both raw expressions of an artificial experience and explorations of photographic abstraction. (Note: These are photographs as shot, not after-the-fact digital constructions.)
