Part of the 'High Altitude Humanity, China' collection of photographs. A body of photographic work portraying the culturally abundant peoples of South-East China and the landscapes they carve -figuratively moving mountains to support humanity at higher-altitudes. This image captures the timeless landscapes that are crucial to these peoples' existence. Captured in Black and White film to focus on the strong presence this place exerts in terms of dimension, texture, form and of course sheer beauty.
