China’s rural villagers live a simple but often difficult lifestyle, often battling illnesses such as Malaria, Tuberculosis and other water-borne diseases along with accidents which result with orphaned children, and extreme poverty. As China's economy continues to boom and the cities become wealthier, the rural people of China are neglected and forgotten. This collection of photographs is a series of portraits taken of rural villagers in the province of Yunnan, China.
