The series of portraits were shot on medium format. They were mainly inspired by Otto Dix’s portraits, which were famous for their unique and grotesque style. I am focusing on the society, and using the technique of Dix, who allows us to look at the very worst in ourselves and our times, imagining a better world. There is also an enchanting, yet dark side, to my work, an intriguing depth that appears to be destined to highlight the drama of life and capture the sincerity of the journey, the scenes of intimacy that confront human vulnerability, challenging our own fragility
