The intricate texture of this image caught my eye while visiting a winery in the California Napa Valley. While rooted in the earth, these vines had a story to tell, as they grew and spread across the wall. Becoming entwined and wrapped around and through each other; they spread their tentacle-like vines reaching far beyond their roots. The bright yellow wall created a dramatic backdrop for these dormant vines while awaiting the emergence of their spring flowers. I captured this image with the Canon 5D Digital Camera, tamron 17-35mm f2.8 Wide Angle lens on a Bogen Tripod/Manfrotto Head.
