For eight generations, the Rauch/Clifton family has been farming their land in Little Hocking, Ohio. Although one of the largest farms in Washington County, it is still tended primarily by the three generations living on the land today. Like many family farmers, they feel the pressures of a global economy and competition from large corporate agriculture. As a result, their farming methods must constantly evolve. But like the generations before them, they work and play together every day, rarely taking a night off. Their struggles and joys are those of both a small business, and a close-knit family.
