9-0 is a series of photographs from the now non-existent home of the late Merce Cunningham (d. 7/26/2009) and John Cage (d. 8/12/1992). These photographs were made as part of an ongoing personal study of human relationship with space. The couple had lived in their loft-apartment for most of their time in New York. Originally a series of 10 photographs, the piece is named from and inspired by Jasper John's lithographic piece (0-9) which hung on one of the walls. The loft was returned to the landlord for on Feb 1, 2010.
