Black and white photos which show the children of Rodriguez family in Mutamba, a community of Icapuí, in Ceará, Brazil.
I was working as a translator in Mutamba, a community of IcapuÃ, a coast village in Ceará, Brazil, when i met these kids. While their parents were interviewed i took some photos of them. They were curious and they wanted to understand what was happening. I could visit them for almost a week. During this time I shot their faces in order to express their strong personality. Actually the explicitness of this work lies in the simplicity of their home and material life which is filled with their body, facial and sentimental expression. Children of Mutamba is a work with light and shadows which catch up the real feelings of a complicated childhood.
