Thailand’s red shirts, UDD supporters, started anti- government protests since mid- March, and gradually clashed between soldiers and them. At last, Thai authorities have launched a crackdown on a protest camp in the center of the city and 14 people were killed and over 90 other injured in this crackdown, 20 MAY. Nearly 90 people have lost their lives since mid-March, while more than 1,700 others are reported to have been injured.
