Red Lexus IS convertible in a highway overpass environment.
‘It’s all based around structures…I have always loved anything that works, functions, is mysterious.…architecture and landscapes.’ Greg sees beauty in repetitions of form in space. An unflinching modernism inflects his images with stark contrast from the bright whites of super-watt bulbs in the controlled, mechanical environment. Landscapes are the equally light-filled icy wastes of the bleak far north. ‘Northern landscapes are more graphic, mysterious.’ His earliest photographs were of a rural childhood, forests and a beach – and a local water tower. Born in East Yorkshire in 1978, Greg White studied at Nottingham Trent and Blackpool, graduating in 2002.
