Captured moments are a time stamp: An event that cannot ever be repeated. Such events are meant to be shared. These are the moments that I love to capture. This photo was shot while on a trip to Vancouver BC, Canada, during which I was skiing and took a bad fall. This left me to experience the mountains and snow through the lens rather than on my skis. Seeking out the great action of my surroundings, I became interested in freezing the movement of colorful snowboarders flying against the white background; the pipeline was ideal for photographing such energy. Up in the air and back down again, with ice flakes splashing all over...you can see the snowboarder’s intense energy being put into reaching such height, as the observers admired his achievements.
