Continuing our days as if their loss isn't there, they are just unrecognizable mentions. We don't notice the bitter loss; they are distant blurs in a landscape where vibrant joy and amusement usually are the setting. Who is gone is unknown, just another fatality. Besides I need to do the laundry. Anxiously waiting for them to come home is a constant search through unknown crosses. Will they or won't they? Another one gone and he was just trying to get money for school. And there are others. The vitality of communication becomes the widows dropped receiver.
