Zalophus californianus, Santa Barbara Island in California. Santa Barbara Island in California is famous for sea lions rookeries. Diving close to one of them means most of the times being surrounded by dozens of curious young sea lions. This couple was particularly friendly and got very close to my camera. This image was taken at 15 feet depth with a nikon d300 in a Sea&sea housing with two sea&sea strobes.
