The project Insomnia is a memorial for wounded people who have been suffering from mental conditions as the consequence of War, loss of their loved ones and unwanted departures from their homelands. Insomnia is an autobiographical questioning and exploring of binaries; rest/ restless, reality/dream, alive/dead, active/passive. Insomnia has been created in a nostalgic moment of my life and it actively promotes melancholy and nostalgia.
