Every corner in a house, every angle in a room is a space in which we are drawn to hide, for it enables us to withdraw into ourselves. The corner is a sort of half box, part walls, part doors, a semi open haven in which we retreat in order to gain peace. Cut out from the rest of the world, we become the centre of our own microcosm in which only our thoughts resonate. And in this dialogue with solitude we come to experience full awareness of who we truly are, for there is only ourselves to meditate upon.
