Dreamtown The term "Downtown" designates the central area of the large American cities, is the area where all the main shops, offices and skyscrapers are located, and where all realities coexist within the same city. The Dreamtown series is a personal view of the feelings of hostility, isolation and individuality that pervade contemporary large cities, the project aims to reflect this aspect through pictures that show the citizens as an heterogeneous part of the city in which they are living, as if it were a desert island, the main characters of the photographs are often depicted alone, with their back to us, wrapped in an almost dreamlike atmosphere that evokes the reality of the so-called "American Dream" and how often it doesn't become real. This project was made during multiple trips to several U.S. cities between 2007 and 2009.
