The Moche were one of the most powerful kingdoms of its time, as important as those of Tiwanaku in the highlands or as were the Mayans in Central America. Inhabited the north coast of Peru from the first centuries of our era to the eighth century, covering a large area of 600 kms. Archaeologists are working hard to reveal the daily and sacred life of that culture.
