It was the rarest of occurrences… a day off in the middle of the week! For the first time I can remember in almost 6 years, our boss called in a Snow Day and gave us the day off. It had been snowing hard even on the Colombia River valley floor and I headed out to the Gorge to capture ice or snow on Multnomah falls. I did end up capturing some nice shots of Multnomah, but an even better opportunity presented itself to me, just down the road a bit at the lesser known, but still beautiful Latourell Falls.
