3.11 Earthquake and Tsunami left much destruction behind Fukushima No.1 Nuclear Power Plant. People living within a 20-kilometer radius of the plant were ordered to evacuate by the government after the first explosion. I entered this quake-scarred region a month after the disaster. Though the disaster still realistically vivid, the eerie tranquillity of this “Ghost Town” was what had bothered me the most. A street that looked as if it was once full of life, was now a Mysterious Town with only the sound of the wind and the sound of my own self. The town was nothing more than an inhuman Negative World Heritage, made inhabitable for 50 to 100 years hereafter.
