Entry Description

This series of self-portraits is an investigation of the body and a way to push it to its limits. The negative spaces speak about the fear of not being complete as a human being, of being powerless. At the same time, the woman in these images distances herself from the world through her grotesqueness. For me, that distance serves as a means of protection.
