In India I found many children are busy to earn their daily bread. After six decades Indian Government passed the education bill (child between six to fourteen years in this country will be educated by the government free of cost). A good move definitely. But I amazed how government will do that without given them minimum social security. Who earns for their family, travel whole year with their parents for a job. Those have no home or those are orphans reside on the streets of India. Some are language minority in other state. That is the big burning question

Story

In India I found many little children are busy to earn their daily bread. After six decades recently Indian Government passed the education bill (child between six to fourteen years in this country will be educated by the government free of cost). A good move definitely. But I amazed how government will do that without given them minimum social security. Who earns for their family or use to travel whole year with their parents for a job. Those have no home or those are orphans reside on the streets of India. Some are language minority in other state. How can we give them a proper environ and Identity? That is the big burning question. I photographed some street children in many parts in India where I found there are deeper problems we have to solve first before we go to educated them. So Government has to ensure this children’s social security first. Then we can tell them to go to the school. And only then government can penalize a parent because of not sending their child to the school. Only then we can think about a better world. Where Sita will dress like a Goddess to act in a play or theatre not for begging. Raja will play with the balloons instead of selling those. Children of language minority community can learn their subject in their own language. Munni can perform as an acrobat rather than street charmer. Street child in front of Jamma mosque can continue her smile.
