In an ancient town in Morocco a yearly festival is the time for some families to show off their best horses. Families come from villages all over northern Morocco and although I was too late for the races I still had time to photograph the end of the day, when the horses were being put back on the trucks ready to start the journey back home. It had recently rained which made the large grounds appear unusual, being right in between the old Medina and the new part of the town. The horses were tired, yet nervous because of the wind that was blowing strongly and they looked out of the trucks almost displaced. On that special day, amid shouts, general exhaustion, the wind and an overall sense of hurry, the horses appeared to me particularly fine and all enduring creatures.
