These are images from a small uncompleted school near Yangon, Myanmar for young girls to become Buddhist nuns. They come from disadvantaged families (usually without a father) and are given a full education including teaching in Buddhism. While given a opportunity for a better life it was also somewhat sad considering they could only see their families one time (for two weeks) until they reached a certain age. Once in their late teens they are allowed to leave if they wish. I was the only foreigner there and made a nice donation towards completion of the school.
