With these few images, I begin to tell the story of Charlotte, living alone in the Great Hall, in the far North of England, shielded from the concerns of the modern world. The last descendant of a once great family stretching back centuries. Able to spot a Monarchs handwriting at a glance, family riddles are unearthed and solved. Charlotte spends her time sifting through photographs, letters and collections of hundreds years of family history, conversing more fluently with her deceased ancestors than any rare living visitor. Based this material, Charlotte plans to revive a wing of the house now derelict.
