In February, an uprising against Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi broke out after two neighboring countries overthrown their rulers. Most of the eastern Libya, with Benghazi as the Transitional National Council hedquarters have been taken by anti-government rebels. As the western Libya, including the capital Tripoli was still in pro-Gaddafi hands. The conflict has led to an exodus of people by land, sea and air. Thousands had died in clashes and still there is no hope for the end of the war.
