Spencer Worthley (b.1987) was born and raised in Phillips, Maine. After completing high school and embarking on a year without direction, he rediscovered a love for photography and has since been enrolled in the New Hampshire Institute of Arts. After pursuing a certificate from the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies (2009), Worthley began to use the techniques of documentary photography as a way to explore and better understand his own life. His work is owned by several private collections and has recently been featured in group exhibitions in Provincetown, MA.
