Mt Merapi volcano in central Java erupted in October 2010, spewing intensely hot volcanic ash in the sky. The temperature of the volcanic ash was estimated to be about 450%, and as the ash settled on the ground, it burned the landscape, and villages along the way. Even hardy bamboo trees that formed the landscape around the volcano were taken down, and ash were left on all the places it traveled to and threatened, including the ashes that were left on the window panes of a village house. This left behind trail showed the power of destrunction left behind by Mt Merapi.
