There is a line that separates photography and cinema. I want to explore that line. Using still imagery, I want to create a narrative. With the use of light, I want to create a cinematic world. I want this world separate from the one where we live, one where I have full control over everything in it. I want to use ideas, experiences, and thoughts that I have no control over and fully control the creation of a picture. I am able to explore mental illnesses, sexuality, human nature, and my own worries. With this false sense of control, I aim to capture a picture that allures the viewer into exploring the image further than a glimpse. My intention is for the viewer to find more details with every glance.
