Women are often compared to flowers in a colorful and delicate way. I had this vision of a visual that would be simple yet striking at the same time without the use of color. I decided to go for B&W and my challenge was to create a sense of the delicacy and impact without the color element, like stripped, almost bare. Something atypical maybe, with a style of B&W and a certain artistic sense.
I am completely self taught and started photography about 4 years ago. I fell in love with it and capturing images became vital to me and I feel very passionate about it. Coming from a performing art and design background, I try to constantly use all the knowledge I possess from my other skills and I work on developing my style and finding ways to express a feeling in my images.
