During a prolonged stay away, I took the habit of getting up with the sun and walking til exhaustion. The map drawn into my consciousness seemed to indicate I was penetrating into the bowels of this new territory. However, it was only after, I discovered with fascination, the true direction of my steps. The evolution towards a more experiential type of record, the metaphorical reading of light and shadow, and the emotional bond I feel with the surroundings, approximate the work which can be defined as a portrait, sometimes tragic, sometimes lively, of my own circumstances as a human being.

Story

During a prolonged stay away, I took the habit of getting up with the sun and walking til exhaustion. The map drawn into my consciousness seemed to indicate I was penetrating into the bowels of this new territory. However, it was only after a few tens of kilometers that I discovered, with fascination and awe, the true direction of my steps. The evolution towards a more experiential type of record, the metaphorical reading of light and shadow, and the emotional bond I feel with the people, situations and spaces photographed, approximate the work which can be defined as a portrait, sometimes tragic, sometimes lively, of my own circumstances as a human being.
