L'Aquila, 6th April 2009, 3.32 AM. An 5.9 magnitude earthquake stroke the city. The official death toll is 308, 1600 injured and 10 billions of estimated damage. The reconstruction started soon but because of the lack of funds the progress is slow. Today, three years after that night, L'Aquila is still struggling to return to life, a wide area of the center, the "Red Zone" is still off-limits. Actually the media don't speak about this anymore and thousands of the inhabitants are still living in temporary lodging houses waiting for someone to help them to have their normal life back.
