In the afternoon Abdul Fata introduced us to three of his friends. Mohammed Zia Mama, a triple amputee, Abdul Qudos, a double amputee and Mohammed Agha, a double amputee. The three friends had me laughing for two hours. There is no way a mujaheddin fighter will ever be stopped by a little thing like an amputation or two! They all said no one in the world should have to endure what they have had to live with. My soul was lifted just being in their presence.
