A settlement at the sea, built from simple materials .A settlement that marked a closed universe.What happens or happened right here? Is it just a campground with cabins made of flotsam? While photographing i always felt observed.The dark shadows in the images represent this mysterious atmosphere. Although the cottages stand near the sea they are not convey the feeling of freedom and casual living. They transform a sense of uncertainty, risk and the excluded one. What kind of stories play out here, what kind of fates you can find behind the castle-like facades .Without protection from sun and wind these creations are digging themselfes in the hot sand.Is it a sect which perhaps hoping for the arrival of a savior? An Observation post for a runway of extraterrestrial air traffic?
